La Victoria Lab is a multidisciplinary group of creatives who use human-centered innovation to improve the lives of Peruvian families and reimagine the present and future of Intercorp.

We work in industries as diverse as financial services, retail, education and healthcare, focusing on bringing ideas to life through research, learning; being the obsession with understanding the needs of our users the main vehicle to serve Peruvian families.

Your role as a Designer

As a Designer, you are curious and constantly looking to learn. You understand the design process and possess design skills that allow you to communicate your ideas effectively. You combine imagination and vision with a tenacious ability to ask the right questions and make things happen. Thanks to your curiosity, you seek out relevant references and take advantage of your team's ideas to build on them.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop cohesive and innovative user-centered solutions by applying design thinking principles.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate creative ideas and concepts that align with project objectives.
  • Assist in conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
  • Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test design solutions, iterating based on feedback and insights from users and stakeholders.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BRING?

  • You have 1-3 years of professional work experience in design-related fields, such as product design, graphic design, strategy consulting, digital product management, etc.
  • You feel comfortable in all phases of the design process, from research to prototyping, and you enjoy getting your hands dirty.
  • You are able to quickly produce prototypes and experiments and receive feedback to improve your ideas.
  • You are able to design and conduct guided usability tests with users.
  • You have experience working with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch, Marvel and Google Suite.
  • You have basic knowledge of design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
  • You have communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to stakeholders and team.
